Privacy

Short version: the calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never sent to us or stored on any server, and we don’t ask for your name, email or phone.

What we collect

• Calculator inputs — your bill, state, cost and rebate figures stay on your device. We never receive or store them.
• We don’t collect names, emails, phone numbers, or accounts — there’s nothing to sign up for.

Cookies & data collected by partners

We use third-party services that may set cookies or collect device/usage data:

• Google AdSense (advertising). Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to show and measure ads, including (where permitted) personalised ads based on your prior browsing. Categories typically processed: device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and ad-interaction data. You can control this at Google Ads Settings and learn more at how Google uses data.
• Analytics (only if enabled) — privacy-respecting, aggregate visit counts. We don’t build advertising profiles ourselves.

Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights over data that our ad partners collect:

• EEA / UK (GDPR): where required, you’ll be shown a consent prompt before personalised-ad cookies are set, and you can accept or reject.
• California (CCPA/CPRA) & similar US states: you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We don’t sell data ourselves, but ad-cookie “sharing” may occur via Google. To opt out, use the Google Ads Settings opt-out and your browser’s Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honour where applicable.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
